Yes, This Was Sam the Record Man - This is not a great photo, but I am keeping my eyes on this corner. I work in the impossibly ugly building in the top right of this photo (there's a better view of that building here). Ryerson now owns the old Future shop and the Sam's location and the plans are to extend the library to this location. Ryerson was recently given $45 million to make this happen, and I gather that fund raising will begin soon. I am still upset that the city has lost Sam's, but I take some solace in the fact that Ryerson will have a much-improved library. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
