Trestle - I am sure that someone will say that this photo would be much improved if there were a person or people in it. The street was deserted, so I made due with a deserted street scene. Taken on Bloor Street at night. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
The Church and the Peeler Bar...and the lonely man - I originally entitled this photo "Club Paradise." Just when I was about to shorten it to "Paradise," Jim left a comment with the phrase "The Church and the Peeler Bar...and the lonely man," which makes a much better title. That really is a church to the immediate left of Club Paradise. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Listening - It's a terrible title, I realize. I had a mental block. I took this while walking south on Croft Street a few days back while my bicycle was in for repairs. I needed a new rear cassette and some adjustments. It rides much better now. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Gritty - Taken in Toronto's Koreatown, looking south along Palmerston Avenue, from Bloor Street. at night. Palmerston has unusual street lighting, as you can see. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Hair Like a Bird's Nest - Eventually, I will get to the end of these images from Holt Renfrew. Sorry if they are getting boring. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Corridor - A level crossing near Dupont Street and Bartlett Avenue. It's very similar to another photo I posted a while back, but I like this one so much, I had to post it too. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments)
Statuesque - Another Holt Renfrew window scene. This image was toned using Adobe Lightroom's Antique Grayscale option. I like this effect. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).

Speed - Looking down on a TTC bus entering the St. Clair West Station. Of course, I took the name of the photo from that ridiculous movie with Sandra Bullock and Keanu "I Can't Act" Reeves. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
<< | home | >> << | home | >> Glassed Over - The South-east view from Robarts Library, at the University of Toronto. This is another Antique Grayscale treatment from Adobe Lightroom. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Steam - A view from Dundas Street of this factory where they make Nestle products, I think. It certainly smells like chocolate. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments). Technorati Tags: Toronto, night, lights, factories, windows, Kit Kat
Cityscape - This is another shot from Robarts Research Library at the University of Toronto. The treatment is called Antique Grayscale, a preset toning effect in Adobe Lightroom. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Plastic Model - I couldn't resist posting another photo from the Holt Renfrew window display on Bloor Street. This is an expansive window that seems to go on for half a block. If you are in the neighborhood, you should really check it out. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Corner Window - I think that when I was a student at U of T, I didn't look out of the windows very much. I went back a few times recently and made up for that oversight. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Rural Decay - You may recall that I posted a colour version of this image a while back. It's from a trip to the Salmon River area from the past summer. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
St. George Street Tilt-Shift #2 - Again, from the Robarts Library at the University of Toronto looking south along St. George Street. The Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library is in the lower right. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
St. George Street Tilt-Shift -This was taken from a window of the Robarts Library at the University of Toronto, looking north along St. George Street. I used The Gimp to make this fake tilt-shift. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
University College - This is from a few months back, when I did a quick trip around University College at the University of Toronto. Having no tripod with me, I resorted to using a bench. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Down - This is a staircase in University College at the University of Toronto. I didn't like this photo at all in colour, but I like the black & white, even the blown out area at the bottom, although you might not. I added some vignetting, which is an effect I really like. From my Office Window - I have a feeling that this building is going to keep expanding until I can't see anything from my window. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Vanishing Point - There's not much to say about this photo, except that it was taken off Dundas Street West, near that pedestrian bridge. This photo's Flickr Page.
Under the Bridge - I really like this bridge, as you might have noticed. I have even more photos of it, but I will probably not post them all. I was unable to post yesterday. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
Toronto Behind Glass - From the 13th floor of the Robarts Library at the University of Toronto, looking south. This photo's Flickr Page (with comments).
